Is this a coating that goes on my floor?
Our propriety treatment for most surfaces is not a coating that can wear off. It imprints a microscopic tread pattern on the tiles that is so slight it is not visible to the naked eye. For those surfaces that cannot be treated with this product we offer alternate solutions whether it’s an anti-slip coating or sealant with aggregate – we have yet to find a surface we were unable to make safer!
I have not had anyone slip and fall on my property, so why do I need your services?
Do you guarantee that we will never have another slip and fall incident?
Is this service available for residential applications?
Is the service expensive?
How do we know if our floors are slippery when they are wet?
Well, can I test the floors myself?
How long do I need to wait before I can walk on my floors?
The areas treated with our propriety solution can be walked on as soon as the job has been completed. There is no curing period or drying time. They are ready for immediate use! Should your surface require a sealant or coating, then dry and cure times may apply.
Do I really need this service?

What is the cost of having our floors tested?
For a typical floor COF testing the cost is $295.00 if your business resides within Palm Beach County, Martin County or St Lucie County. This cost will be deducted from your total invoice should you retain our services to treat your floors. Businesses outside of these counties please contact us for a quote. Full SCOF and DCOF testing with Electronic Test Report start at $500 within our area of service.
What test equipment is used for the Coefficient of Friction testing?
Florida Non-Slip Services and Consultants conducts surface friction measurement using the TracScan Tribometer.
The TracScan is a truly portable tribometer used for the evaluation of slip resistance characteristics of floor surfaces. The TRACSCAN tribometer is the ultimate tool for Safety and Facility Management professionals to monitor the traction levels of their walkways. Keeping an accurate record of your walkway traction demonstrates compliance with the nationally recognized walkway safety standards and commitment to comply with best practices laid out by ANSI Standards. The TracScan tribometer is one of only two tribometers approved by the National Floor Safety Institute (www.nfsi.org).
